INTERVIEW REVIEW

Review what was asked, what appeared, and what to improve.

After a session, OfferSteady brings the conversation record and generated guidance into one review so you can check accuracy and prepare for the next round.

What appears in an interview review?

A review can include confirmed interviewer and candidate transcript turns, recognised questions, answer guidance, screenshot answers, and the source context associated with the session. The exact record depends on which features were used and which items were retained by the active product controls.

Review is most useful when you compare the transcript with your memory rather than treating it as a perfect record. Speech recognition can omit or revise words, especially when audio quality is poor, speakers overlap, or a device route changes.

How can review improve preparation?

Identify questions where your answer lacked a clear example, measurable result, technical trade-off, or concise opening. Turn those gaps into a preparation checklist. Update your resume or knowledge materials only with information you can verify, then practise a shorter version in your own words.

For technical questions, check whether the explanation covered assumptions, alternatives, complexity, failure modes, and testing. For behavioural questions, confirm that the situation, action, and result reflect your actual role.

Can session content be exported or deleted?

Supported review content can be exported or managed through the controls available in the product. Data availability and retention are described in the Privacy Policy. Contact support when the available controls do not address an access, correction, or deletion request.

What should you review first?

Begin with the questions that changed direction, required clarification, or produced an answer you found difficult to deliver. Compare the confirmed transcript with your memory of the conversation. Mark recognition errors separately from answer-quality issues so that an audio problem is not mistaken for a preparation gap.

Then review the opening sentence, evidence, trade-offs, and conclusion of each important response. Look for unsupported metrics, vague ownership, missing constraints, or an answer that reached the point too late. Convert each observation into one specific practice task for the next interview.

How can you build a reusable preparation loop?

After review, update only verified source facts. Create a shorter project summary, add a missing decision or result, and remove old details that no longer reflect your experience. Rehearse the same evidence against a different question so you learn the underlying story rather than memorising one answer.

Technical candidates can record assumptions, alternatives, complexity, tests, and failure modes they omitted. Behavioural candidates can separate personal contribution from team activity and prepare a concise result. Future guidance can then start from clearer material without changing what actually happened.

Keep sensitive information minimal
